High-Resolution Ultrasound Findings of Testicular Repture

Abstract

|
This report is concerned about the experience with a high-resolution(10-MHz) real-time ultrasonic syst6em in evaluation of testicular rupture.
Sonographic features of 32 cases of testicular rupture were reviewed.
Direct findings such as tunica albuginea separation was shown in 28 cases, and fracture line in 18 cases.
High-resolution sonography with its extremely detailed anatomic images enabled much improved evaluation of testicular rupture.
